Educational Background: Dr. Atsunyo graduated from the University of Cape Coast  (Ghana)  with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree (Accounting & Business Administration), and a Master of Business Administration degree (International Business) from the University of New Haven, CT.  He proceeded to the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Management & Organizational Studies in May, 1992. 

Dr. Atsunyo trained as a teacher in elementary and secondary education for four years prior to his University education. He also received a University Diploma in Education concurrently with his undergraduate degree. He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the Division of Business. These include courses in Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and International Business. 

His research interests are in the International dimensions of Management, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management. Read, for example, "The Cultural Dimensions of Leadership in African Organizations," "Cultural Diffusion and Technology Acceptance: Implications for Managing Out of Africa," and "Business and Spiritism: The Metaphysics of Organizational Consultancy in Africa," published in the proceedings of the Eastern Academy of Management.
