Professor Kathy Timm joined Mount Saint Mary College the Fall of 2000 as an Assistant Professor in the Math and Computer Science Department. Previously, she taught as a Visiting Professor in the Math and Computer Science Department at Marist College for four years and Dutchess Community College for one year. Prior to teaching, she managed many large groups within IBM for 30 years in both hardware and software development of computing systems in Poughkeepsie.

Professor Timm holds an M.S. degree in Mathematics from Purdue University, B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Psychology from Gettysburg College, and New York State Teaching Certifications in Mathematics, Physics, and Earth Science.

Her main interest in teaching is to integrate the current technology of computers and her many business experiences into her class lectures and discussions.
