Math, Science and Technology*

Math, Science and Technology is a 3 semester sequence of courses designed to present an integrated approach to the study of math and science. In the first course in the sequence an emphasis will be placed upon the process of science, important mathematical concepts and the use of technology as an important tool in the learning process. The second and third courses will be theme-based and will include major math and science concepts as they relate to that particular theme. This contexual approach to learning strives to emphasize the connectedness of the disciplines and the importance of mathematics to the problem solving nature of science. The entire sequence will be based upon inquiry and collaborative learning.
